The garden calls, the seeds and seedlings need planting. Tulips will be up soon, they love to bask in the sun on the cool days of April. I'll be celebrating with them! But in the mean time, on these early rainy dark days, I'll post my inspirations in the shop.

So happy to see these pansies overwintered nicely.Robust and cheery, I imagine the singing flowers from Alice in Wonderland every time we pass.

Kick off the Spring Season with a visit to the Skylofts Gallery of the first annual Highlandtown Spring Artfest! Elisa, Anne, Allison, and Jeni from BEST will be there selling their wares. The event will be showcasing local talent with a diverse selection of painting, pottery, papergoods and jewelry. See container garden demos and enter to win a herb garden from Baltimore Contained!
Make a day of it, pick up some of the best-ever donuts at Hohen's Bakery (always a treat) and some Italian goodies at Di Pasquales Deli (an even bigger treat). See you there!

The ring above is made from a scrap he found in the brass bin, something I thought was ruined, he reinvented and made a beautiful ring. I am really impressed with his ingenuity in the metal studio lately.
He's also my cuff former. That hammer I got him for Christmas last year is really paying off!
